Open Position: Assistant Web Developer (Sonoma, CA)


Part-time (20hrs./wk.); Salary D.O.E (non-exempt); Full benefits package

This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to become part of the team that supports the world-class Energy Design Resources website, and other innovative GeoPraxis projects. If you are qualified, and dedicated to achieving California’s greenhouse gas reduction goals, this may be just the right position for you.

Since 1998, the Energy Design Resources (EDR) program has developed and distributed energy-efficiency best practice software tools, web applications, and technical publications to the professionals who work in building design, engineering, construction, commissioning, financing, and operations. EDR is funded by California utility customers and administered by the state’s leading utilities under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.

The Assistant Web Developer reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer in Sonoma headquarters. Telecommute options may be considered, but only after completing first six months onsite.

Open Position: Online Editorial / Social Media Assistant (Sonoma)

You must already have a solid foundation in online content management, social media, event coordination, email marketing, and communications and above all must have enthusiasm for your work. Experience with building science and construction, emerging iDSM technologies, utility energy efficiency programs, and/or the commercial real estate finance business are all a plus. We will train the right candidate as necessary to bring you to forefront of this exciting new field.

The Editorial Assistant reports directly to the President in our Sonoma headquarters.
